Our Easter Brunch was a big success, with about fifty guests who came and brought food to share. All of the food was delicious and our residents and staff all helped out to make this a fun event. Coming up, we’ll host another event for residents by the pool.
Come by on May 11 at 6:30 p.m. for our pool party. Bring snacks to share, and your beverages of choice, just remember no glass is allowed in the pool area. Summer is already here in Las Vegas, so this will be a nice refreshing event for all our guests!
As another bonus for our guests in the heat of summer, our “Not To Exceed” summer electric rates will continue through September 30. We encourage all of our guests to conserve energy whever they can, but this gives some extra help in the desert heat.

The new Smith Center for the Performing Arts has only been open in Las Vegas since March of this year, but there is already a full schedule of performances, plays and special events going on daily. This new center offers visitors the chance to have a night of culture and entertainment beyond the shows on the Strip.
This center is the highlight of the new Symphony Park, which will see many new sustainable, educational and cultural developments in the coming years. A two-acre park, also called Symphony Park, opened in conjunction with the Smith Center and provides a place for special events and outdoor relaxation for nearby residents and guests.

Our new May calendar of events is up on the website for Las Vegas RV Resort, and we have plenty of events going on to keep you cool as the temperature starts to heat up here in Las Vegas.
Our pool party will take place Friday, May 11 starting at 5:30 p.m. Take a dip in our pool or relax and get some sun. It’ll be a fun time for residents to socialize and meet their neighbors. We ask that anyone attending bring finger food to share.

Congratulations to the winner of our “Biggest Loser” style competition here at Las Vegas RV Resort. He lost 18 pounds for the largest total percentage lost. He celebrated by taking the other competitors to dinner!
Many competed, working out in our brand new fitness center or making their own food in the RV rather than eating out every night at expensive restaurants.
