If you’re staying with us at Las Vegas RV Resort and you’re bringing your pets along, check out the Las Vegas Pet Expo, this Saturday February 11. This free event will go from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Cashman Center, only about 10 minutes north of the park.
Pets are of course welcome, but be sure to read their tips for bringing pets on their website. And please note that our guests bring up to two well-behaved, non-agressive dogs in our resort. No Pit Bull, Doberman, Rottweiler breeds or mixes of these are allowed.
This event will offer vaccinations, micro chipping, exhibitors with pet products, pets up for adoption and even a pet costume contest. There will also be live entertainment, agility and obedience demonstrations and prizes and giveaways.

Join us at Las Vegas RV Resort for the Biggest Loser Competition– starting this Friday! Any of our guests who want to participate will come by the clubhouse from 4 to 6 p.m. on February 3. Admission for the contest is only $5 and we’ll get your starting weigh-in during that time.
Then it’s time to lose! Use our new fitness center, take a dip in the pool, or take a jog around the park. Join with your friends so you can eat right and exercise together. In April, we will hold a second weigh-in to determine our Biggest Loser. The guest who loses the most weight in that time period will win the pool of all the admission money.
There’s nothing to lose except for weight, and the more people who join will mean more prize money. So gather your friends and family and come to our Biggest Loser weigh in this Friday. Keep checking our blog and calendar for the April weigh-in.

The Chinese New Year is in full swing here in Las Vegas, as you can see from the vibrant displays in many of the big casinos.
