We Can Hardly Contain Our Excitement for Downtown Container Park

“In Las Vegas, we don’t just have outdoor shopping malls. We have giant shipping containers designed as business incubators guarded by a 50-foot-high, fire-spewing, music-playing metal praying mantis rescued from Burning Man—all surrounding a giant treehouse with a 33-foot slide. Because, you know, Vegas.” ~ Andrea Bennett / tripsavvy.com

Just a few blocks from The Fremont Experience sits Downtown Container Park, an open-air shopping center constructed from repurposed shipping containers. The whole family is welcome to shop, dine, and enjoy hours of interactive play and live entertainment at this one-of-a-kind attraction.

The innovative shopping space offers everything from apparel, jewelry, and accessories to magic tricks, cigars, and home décor. No two shops are alike. You can access a complete list of shops here.

Like the shopping experience, there is an array of dining options, from fine dining and bars to after-dinner sweets. Dine inside or on one of the many outdoor patios. Tacos, pizza, sandwiches, charcuterie and cheese selections, kettle corn, gelato, craft beverages, vino, and much, much more…whatever you are in the mood for, there is a wide range of delectable delights to satisfy any craving. Check out eateries here.

Perhaps the highlight of Container Park is its many fun and wacky entertainment features. A monstrous praying mantis made of sheet metal shoots fireballs six stories high from its antennae at the entrance gate. Kids (and kids-at-heart) will have a ball playing in the sky-high treehouse with a 33-foot slide and NEOS (electronic-interactive) playground. The Lawn at Container Park hosts a variety of live concerts, shows, and movies nightly. Double-check the Event Calendar before arriving.
