Las Vegas is known for its over-the-top entertainment venues and wild parties. It didn’t get the name Sin City for no reason. Vegas has many events and exciting things to do for those who like a tamer atmosphere, even some fit for the whole family too. Between our newsletter (subscribe at the bottom of our home page) and our previous blog entry, we have showcased a few of the Las Vegas Halloween activities happening around town.
Keeping with the theme of the month, here are another two events you can attend during your October stay at Las Vegas RV Resort. Whether you are looking for a wild party featuring a costume contest, or a more casual Fall festival atmosphere, Vegas has something for everyone.
The Wild Side of Las Vegas Halloween Activities
Wild Nightclub and Costume Contest
- WHAT: Haunted Harajuku with Eric D-Lux
- WHEN: Thursday, October 28th, 10:30pm
- WHERE: TAO Nightclub
Do you enjoy going to a nightclub, listening to a DJ, and dancing while having a drink or two? Vegas has its share of night clubs, but only one has a $5K Costume Contest, TAO nightclub!
About the Event
The event’s namesake comes from Harajuku Station(原宿) in Japan. Harajuku is one of the most famous destinations in the world. One of the things the area is famous for is its Japanese pop culture and stylish fashion trends. In keeping with that idea, those wishing to join a wild costume party with cash prizes featuring a live DJ and tons of fun can “hop off the train” and immerse themselves in self-expression and creativity. According to the event site, “Wear what you want to wear. Be who you want to be… but make it spooky!”
On the Tamer Side
One Of The More Fun than Spooky Las Vegas Halloween Activities
- WHAT: Haunted Harvest
- WHEN: October 22nd – 24th and October 29th – 31st
- WHERE: Springs Preserve
Springs Preserve features museums, galleries, outdoor events, a colorful botanical garden, and an interpretive trail system. It’s a great place to visit for those that love a little history and the outdoors any time of year.
About the Event
Explore Springs Preserve with a spooky family-friendly twist. The Halloween fun includes themed trick-or-treat stations, live entertainment, activities for all ages, street vendors serving up all kinds of tasty treats, and more!
“There are also new surprises around every corner for those willing to brave Boo!town, which is filled with ghostly characters lurking and more fun than you can shake a wand at!” – Visit the event page for more info.
